SIFE - Cambridge University

SIFE Cambridge, founded in 2004, is a volunteer organisation focussing on social enterprise; our aim is to empower people by teaching them essential personal success skills, and "helping them to help themselves".

SIFE is a global organisation with over 1500 teams worldwide and 48 in the United Kingdom alone. It aims to create economic opportunity for others through student-led projects and has achieved remarkable success, from helping farmers in Ghana develop their own, inexpensive pesticides from local, natural resources, to helping a bike shop employing mentally disabled people in Germany get off the ground.

Are you interested in coming up with new ideas, in making things happen, in business, enterprise or charity? If so, we have a project for you. And if we don't currently run the kind of project you're looking for, we can help you set this up, put you in contact with business advisors to create your business plan and support you with funding applications to make your idea a reality.

If this sounds like you, then please get in contact with Emily and Chit at presidents@cambridgesife.org.uk and get involved. Otherwise, take a look at our projects, drop our team leaders an email to get involved and start making a difference.
