Alora is a not-for-profit organization run by students in Cambridge that sells high quality, handmade bespoke gowns and dresses.

The proceeds are used to fund a tailoring school on the outskirts of Hanoi, where vulnerable women gain the skills to earn a comfortable living.

In 2011-2012 we will fund and oversee the education of 3 women, 2 of whom suffer from sever physical disabilities. By the end of the year we hope to have another 2 women in full time training and to have begun to educate the women in how to run a successful business. Our long term goal is to establish a shop called Against All Odds, where the women trained by the school can work and offer the same tailoring service to tourists in the city.

There is only one more fitting this year.

BOOK NOW for Saturday 10th March if you would like a dress in time for May Week.

"One of the most beautiful dresses I have ever worn. The silk material, combined with the sumptuous bordeaux colour, made it look exceptionally glamourous"
